Dartmoor Photography

Enjoy my collection of Dartmoor landscape photography. Dartmoor’s iconic Tors are the first thing that springs to mind when I think of the moor. I have now visited the majority of major Tors on Dartmoor but I am far from photographing them all. Aside from its Tors there are numerous other things to see on Dartmoor. The twisted hawthorn trees are a subject I am particularly fond of photographing and the area has some beautiful streams and rivers running through it. Dartmoor also bears the signs of farming on the moor, both past and present, the dry stone walls that criss-cross the moor are full of character and there are plenty of abandoned farms to photograph. Dartmoor also has some of the most impressive prehistoric sites in the country with many stone rows, stone circles and standing stones.
