Fur Tor, Dartmoor
My first reccy to Fur Tor was on a cloudy day and I found a stong composition that I knew would make a good shot. I never could have anticipated the light I actually got though. This is one of the rare occasions when the weather forecast on Dartmoor has actually been correct. The forecast was for cloud over Dartmoor and clear skies to the west, the perfect forecast for dramatic skies. I wouldnt be suprised if this is the most dramatic image I ever make on Dartmoor, certainly they are once in a lifetime conditions and this is a treasured image. Fur Tor is also known as the Queen of the Moor and with light and a view like this, it's easy to imagine why!
