Irishmans Wall

Belstone Common, Dartmoor

This wall on Dartmoor is called "Irishman's Wall" because it was built by the Irish. Noone know what became of the irishmen, but it was speculated that Ireland was probably a better place to built walls than Dartmoor!

The sunset couldnt have been better, with the wall leading into the light. The stone to the left is a logan stone.
