River of Dreams

River Tavy, Coffin Wood, Dartmoor

The light on the River Tavy this evening was both exceptional and unexpected. On one of my many trips to Coffin Wood to photograph non-existent fungi is was amazed when, as sunset approached the River Tavy burst into colour. A long exposure renders the water as a surreal blur.
