mist by moonlight i the Tavy Valley

Light On

from Smeadon Down, Dartmoor

This is one of my most unique images. The weatherman forecast a short period of good weather overnight in a rather miserable August, so I got up at 0400 in the hope of photographing under the full moon. The mist really transformed the scene into something magical. The shot reminds me a little of being caught in the headlights, such is the relative brightness of the moon, hence the title.
