Roos Tor, Dartmoor

Roos Tor is one of the more accessible tors on the moor being not far from Staple Tor. I often set out to photograph Dartmoor at its very best, under spectacular skies and drifting mists. As a concept this appeals to me far more than portraying Dartmoor in more typical conditions, yet at the same time I risk losing the atmosphere of the place. For me this particular sunset speaks volumes of the drama of Dartmoor without sugar coating it.
