Into Fisherfield

Slioch, NW Highlands

A long day hiking to, and then up, Slioch felt somewhat wasted when we reached the summit just as the sun dipped into the cloud. Nevertheless I went about searching for compositions to make the most of the hand we were dealt and was more than happy to find this beautiful snow fomation. In retrospect I'm not sure this image would have worked had the sun been out. In the distance are A'Mhaighdean and An Teallach
