Gorm Loch Mor, Winter
The Great Wilderness, Scotland
I always keep my open for more abstract opportunities but in truth the Scottish landscape is wild and complex, rarely lending itself to that style. However in winter snow helps to simplify the landscape, opening the door for more graphic styles. The foreground layer here is a snow formation on the top of A' Mhaighdean, far above the inky black depths of Gorm Loch Mor.
