A Winter Moment
The Great Wilderness, Scotland
One of many examples of the transformative nature of lighting, I can;t honestly say that I held much hope of good conditions on this evening. It had been cloudy and snowing for much of the day. But opportunities to photograph the NW Highlands in snow are increasingly limited and so I made my way to the top of Beinn Lair regardless of my pessimism.. This was the only light to speak of, but it more than justified the effort! This image is from my book "The Great Wilderness" and can be found on page 136
