An Teallach and Beinn Dearg from A' Mhaighdean

The Great Wilderness, Scotland

A' Mhaighdean is unusual in offering so many outstanding views from its extensive summit. This scene was captured where the NW ridge meets the summit plateau and shows the view to the north towards the Beinn Deargs and An Teallach. Its an image I love, but its also an image that reminds me what might have been. Later that afternoon I descended the ridge and found a composition that I thought was truly special. I resolved to return in suitable lighting but never had the opportunity, so it stands as my one regret of the entire project!
