Beinn Dearg had been on my radar since my first visit to Torridon. Its position in the middle of all the other peaks gave it plenty of appeal, and it had me even more hooked when I realised there was no footpath up. It wasnt until years later that I finally made the climb. The summit is strewn with fantastic examples of Torridonian sandstone, but I found this little rock garden the most interesting.
