Castell y Gwynt

Castell y Gwynt is Welsh for Castle of the Wind and on a bad day you can understand why, but on this particular morning there was hardly a breeze. The quite night crystal clear air in the morning made the camp at 700m more than worth it and as I walk up Glyder Fawr and Castell y Gwynt came into view I knew I was going to have a good morning! I have now made 3 photography trips to the location but this is certainly my favourite image. For the time being I think my job here is done, but no doubt I will return to Castell Y Gwynt in the not to distant future
