Reinevatnet

Reinebringen, Lofoten, Norway

Reinevatnet means pure/clean lake and if the other lakes in Lofoten are anything to go by I am sure it's an accurate description. The way in which the lake is enclosed by the surrounding peaks is quite beautiful and makes it an instant photographic subject, especially when combined with the fjord and peaks in the distance. This shot was taken around an hour after sunrise with the light just about soft enough to retain detail in the shadow areas of the image.
