Majestic Ketil

Klosterdalen, Tasermiut Fjord, Greenland

The Ketil Massif is impressive from any angle but from the north its jagged ridgline look prehistoric. Beneath is the valley of Klosterdalen, a prospect that filled us with dread, knowning that we would have to force our way back down through birch trees whilst being eaten alive by mosquitos. It's not a route I would recommend to anyone!
