Loch An Doire Cionach

The Great Wilderness, Scotland

This small lochan lies on the footpath between Poolewe and the Causeway. Although I have stopped to take photos here on several occasions I'd never really found anything that satisfied me. That all changed on this winter morning. The peaks beyond are Beinn Lair (left) and Meall Mheinnidh. This image is from my book "The Great Wilderness" and can be found on page 106
