Sgurr Fiona and the Corrag Buidhe Pinnacles

The Great Wilderness, Scotland

In my previous book, Northwest, I was able to capture this famous view in sublime winter conditions, and knowing that this would be an important scene for the project, I had doubts that I would be able to create an image that was equally worthy of the scenery. But luck was on my side this autumn afternoon as the first snow of the season brought relief to the ridges of Sgurr Fiona whilst dramatic light passed beyond. This image is from my book "The Great Wilderness" and can be found on page 47
