The Causeway

The Great Wilderness, Scotland

The causeway between Fionn Loch and Dubh Loch significantly improves access to Fisherfield from the west. Its a popular spot to camp because it provides access to Beinn Lair (pictured), Beinn A' Chaisgein Mor and the Munros of Ruadh Stac Mor and A' Mhaighdean. On this particular evening I was camped on this small hill with Joe Cornish and his son Sam. This boulder proved a rather lovely subject as the sun came down.
