Through my extensive travels in the Drakensberg I've developed an understanding of the cloud inversions that often appear in summer. It pays to keep a close eye on the cloud level, if it starts rising chances are it will continue. If you're ready and waiting then you can capture moments like these, with the clouds just about to swallow North Peak. Minutes later the show was over, there was nothing to see but grey.
