I have visited this point on the Escarpment on three consecutive years, and each time I have had absolutely spellbinding conditions at sunrise. This was probably the best yet, with a sunrise that initially looked hopeless turning into something spectacular and unexpected. However it was a little challenging to shoot. I leant out my tripod to one of the clients whose tripod had fallen apart and consquently I had to do my best shooting handheld. This image is sharp, but many others weren't!
