Summer in Assynt

Suilven, Assynt, Northwest Highlands

A photograph of the view south from Suilven was what attacted me to the Northwest Highlands originally and I have subsequently visited the summit many times. I often avoid peak summer to escape the worst of the midges, but I was glad to have made an exception this time around. The conditions on this morning were absolutely ideal to shoot this view over Fionn Loch and Loch Sionasgaig.
