Sleeping in Roland's Cave

Drakensberg Escarpment, South Africa

I was up at 2am whilst Steve slept to capture this interior view of the cave. It took a lot of messing around in the dark to get the camera in position (the back of the cave is quite confined) but the image gives an accurate impression of the experience. The interior sleeps 4 comfortably and 6 at a push. Whilst dirty the cave floor is completely flat and the outlook is spectacular.
