Itinerary
I won't be providing a specific itinerary for this trip because I will adapt the plan to suit the weather and the progress of the group. There are a number of potential starting and finishing locations but the goal will be to camp out for 4 consecutive nights (5 full days) and incorporate a summit camp on A'Mhaighdean and others in the area. The photos you see are all highly representative of what we will be shooting, but with the exception of A'Mhaighdean, the summits we choose may be different!
We will meet on the Monday at Poolewe or Kinlochewe at 10am though we may not actually start the trip here. For those not able to provide their own transport I should be able to help with travel to and from Inverness.
The trip will conclude back at the cars by 5pm on Friday.

Tuition
I will be on hand at all times to help you with your images should you wish. Usually I find a mix of abilities on my trips which works very well with advanced photographers able to shoot with total freedom and beginners getting the help they require.
Fitness And Experience
You do not need prior mountain experience for this trip however you must be mountain fit! You will need to be able to carry a 20kg backpack up a 1000m mountain and then repeat it. We will be taking our time and your ability to complete the hike is really about having decent baseline fitness and the right attitude. My Youtube videos from summer 2020/21 show a group from mid 20s to mid 60s.

Equipment
A complete PDF kitlist is provided upon booking so you can be confident you have everything you need. I can provide high-end lightweight camping equipment perfectly suited for the trip. This includes Terra Nova Quasar tents, Rab Neutrino 400 sleeping bags and NeoAir Xtherm sleeping mats. If however you would prefer to use your own sleeping kit, or bring your own tent then you are welcome to. Aside from camping equipment which is provided, you will need suitable outdoor clothing, walking boots a rucksack and a number of other items.
The tents are 2-man mountain tents and weight 3.5kg, a bit much to carry solo unless you are a strong hiker. For that reason they are generally best shared and if coronavirus restrictions prevent this then you may need your own tent, but I hope they will be over by then!
Additional Expenses
Food or insurance. I should be able to assist with transport from Inverness.
