Northwest Scotland - Summit Camps

17 May 2019 - 22 May 2019  |  £720

What to Expect

In this adventurous workshop we will be aiming to summit camp on some of Scotland’s finest peaks which I have come to know well through my book, NORTHWEST. We will focus on the Northwest Highlands and in particular, the region stretching from Applecross to Assynt. I have camped on almost all of the mountains in this area and with our itinerary entirely flexible we can make the most of the weather. This area has some of the oldest rock in the world, the landscape is ancient, rugged and beautiful.

During this 6-day adventure we will aim to go up three mountains camping on the summit or just below to ensure we have sensational views for sunrise and sunset. In between we will be visiting some of my favourite lower level locations, sometimes involving longer walks to more remote spots.
