People often complain of rain in the summer. This has been particularly true lately after three consecutive failed summers. The main benefit of having so much rain however is that the summer landscape is often a stunning range of greens. There aren't many places nicer on a good summers day than Devon. This is the view from near the Giants Chair on Dartmoor, looking over the valley in which Widecombe is situated
