Gold and Blue
Fur Tor, Dartmoor
Winter light is often the best, the low light and improved air clarity ofte make for better conditions. At this time the grasses are golden, the temperature is cool and the skies are most exciting. This was a shot I had originally taken on a rather dull day but came back for in better light. The colour contrast here really makes the shot for me and the richness in the colour of the grass is something unique tot he winter. Incidentally, I camped just out of frame on the left of this picture, quite a location!
