Northwest Highlands Calendar 2023

I’m excited to announce my calendar for 2023, my second calendar focussed on the iconic Northwest Highlands of Scotland where most of my photography has taken place in recent years. The images depict wide mountain vistas and rare moments of light. The photographs are captured throughout the seasons and represent many hours of effort in the outdoors hiking and camping out overnight. Hopefully it will appeal to landscape photographers and mountain lovers alike!

About the images

After completing my book on the Northwest Highlands there remained plenty of places to visit and revisit. This calendar includes some of my best work shot in the subsequent years. Several of these images are up to this point ‘unseen’ and cannot be found on my website.

The images focus on the areas of Torridon, Fisherfield and Assynt which host some of the finest mountain landscapes in the UK. I’ve tried to keep the images seasonal and colourful in the hope that they might brighten up a wall wherever they end up! Accompanying the photographs is a short description of the location or the circumstances of the photo.
