1-on-1 Landscape Photography workshops are an ideal way to develop at your own pace. This day long workshop can be tailored to your ability whether you are an absolute beginner trying to learn the basics or an advanced amateur looking to take their photography to the next level.

All courses start with foundational aspects of photography to ensure you have a good understanding of shutter speed, aperture, ISO and focus. Hopefully I can show you just how simple photographic technique can be! Once you feel you are confident in your technique then we can move on to the more creative aspects of photography like lighting and composition.
I have travelled all over Dartmoor and photographed it extensively. I am very familiar with the photographic potential of various locations so I know how to place us in the right place at the right time! Generally a day long workshop gives us the opportunity to visit 3 Dartmoor locations. Usually this includes a woodland/river location and a shoot on the open moor, allowing us to cover a breadth of subject matter and ideas. Usually it is best to select locations based on the days weather and the time of year, but I am happy to visit specific locations you have an interest in.
Although workshops will proceed if the weather is mostly dry, in particularly bad weather we can reschedule. A one day workshop will include approximately 7 hours of tuition although I often extend workshops when the light is good! If you wish to 'team up' with a friend or two to arrange a group workshop then add £40 to the total price for each additional person (additional cost due on the day). I am generally available on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year but please contact me before booking a workshop to confirm availability.
