Above Devils Kitchen

This shot was taken approximately 20m from where we camped. It's sometimes nice to roll out of bed to shoot an image you had planned the night before.

This sunrise came as a very welcome suprise and is one of the best I have ever seen. The colour really was outstanding. The distant peak you can see is Tryfan. I did have a compromise my orginal composition a little to account for the location of the light. I would have liked the mountain to be more central, but you can't have it all!
