Glyder Fawr and Snowdon

Glyder Fawr, Snowdonia

The Glyder ridge must be one of the most fascinating mountain landscapes in the UK. Glyder Fawr is like another planet, with spikes of rock all over the place, the towering presence of Castell y Gwynt is only half a mile away, and Glyder Fach has the somewhat unique cantilever stone. You also get a great view of Snowdon, photographed here next to the setting sun.
