Glyder Fawr Sunset

Glyder Fawr, Snowdonia

It's hard to tell how these rocks formed this beautiful spikes fan, it's almost as if it's a man made sculpture, but of course it is entirely natural. I like getting sunstars when I can, they are caused by diffraction around the lens aperture, and they are at their best when the contrast is high. All in all the conditions were perfect for the shot and the view is amazing.
