Once the low cloud had cleared we had an excellent view of all the mountains surrounding Stac Pollaidh. The visibility was excellent and the light dusting of snow brought detail to the mountain scree slopes. Sadly a burst of sunshine never came whilst it was clear, but the more subtle diffuse light was still wonderful.
As we headed down from the mountain a blizzard set in and the wind picked up to 50mph, I was very glad to be back at the car!
