Prints

Prints can be purchased via the dropdowns beneath each individual image in the gallery.

My photographic prints are the goal I work towards and the pinnacle of my imagery. I sell my Dartmoor prints nationally and internationally to collectors, companies and members of the public.
I offer two kinds of print. Satin Fuji Crystal Archive DPII, an industry standard archival paper and matt fine-art giclee prints on Hahnemule German Etching.

Advice
If, after reading the below information, you can't decide between the two papers then I suggest a Crystal Archive Print. The difference between the two prints, once framed, is small If you are a collector, or you want to print in excess of 30 inches, then I would recommend a Fine Art Matt print option.

Fuji Crystal Archive Prints
Used by professionals worldwide Fuji Crystal Archive prints are rich in colour, contrast and detail with excellent archival properties. The finish is satin/semi gloss with a slightly stippled effect

Fine Art Matt Prints
Fine Art Matt Prints are on Hahnemule Photorag This heavyweight 308gsm paper has a smooth subtley textured surface finish and outstanding archival qualities. This paper has become a standard for archival fine art printing and is used for photography and art reproductions worldwide.

This paper would be my personal suggestion if you are hanging the image in a poorly lit location where reflections may be an issue. The tactile nature of the paper gives an immediate sense of quality. I have nearly all of my personal images printed on this paper now but that is out of preference rather than because this paper is 'better'.

Shipping
Prints are carefully packaged at the printers to ensure they arrive with you in excellent condition. All orders should arrive within 14 days, but it only ever takes this long when I am away, it’s usually more like 3 days. Contact me if you have a deadline to meet!

Quality Guarantee & Returns
I guarantee the quality of my printed work. If you are unhappy in any way with your print then I have a 30 day return policy; you will receive a full refund (it's not happened yet!).

Other Papers/Sizes
I can produce prints on a range of other papers including glossy C-types and Giclee Fine Art Prints in a variety of finishes. Please contact me if you have a particular finish in mind.

Framing and mounting
I do not offer custom framing due to the logistical difficulties. I can however offer a variety of modern mounting options such as block mounting and aluminium mounting. Please get in touch if you are interested.

Framing Advice
I strongly recommend framing prints. This shows the art to its full potential and protects it, ensuring that it can be enjoyed for years to come. A properly framed print will last in excess of 40 years (longer for fine art prints) in standard lighting conditions before fading begins, even longer in darker locations.

Getting a custom frame made is the best option to make the most of the artwork. Cheap off the shelf frames use acidic materials that may damage the print. If you would like any further advice on framing please contact me.
