Broken Not Beaten
One of my very favourite shots. This is probably the best example I have of a retake improving on the original shot which I had taken a year before when I was a relative beginner at photography. The sunstar here is caused by shooting at a very small lens aperture and I haven't managed to get such a good one since. This shot will probably look quite calm and peaceful to some people, the reality was quite different, it was close to freezing temperatures and there was a biting wind as I took this shot, I left my hat at home and was suffering with a serious dose of brain freeze!
