Fur Tor, Dartmoor

Fur Tor gives fantastic views over Tavy Cleave. Walking from Lane End, along Tavy Cleave and up to Fur Tor is probably the best approach. From other directions you can guarantee boggier ground! The walk along the Cleave is also one of the most spectacular on Dartmoor.

The clouds in this image soon dumped snow and hail on our heads, it was a could and wet start to the hike back!
