Found your website while searching for some information on a hiking trip in Scotland. Your photos are a delight to look at. These are the landscapes i love and you show them in best light and also very naturally colours.

in an age when digital photography has enabled the easy manipulation of images past the point of looking genuine your work is like a breath of the fresh air I can almost feel from your work. The images here celebrate the natural world for it's brilliant moments of light and landscape instead of overly relying on post-processing for impact.
They're the kind of photos that make me want to get up at stupid-o' clock in the morning and be waiting there with the camera! Thanks for the inspiration!
I recommend a trip to Ireland. The west coast will not disappoint! (though the weather might!)

Well, I don't usually leave any comments in guestbooks but I felt this time I had to! Not that what I have to say is any different to what has already been said...
I am a fan of photography, and although not very skilled myself, I do love to browse through other people's work and learn from what they do. I have to say that yours is the type of photography I aspire to do. The way you use light and composition is just perfect. I can tell from you photographs that you invest lots of time and effort. Needless to say I shall keep the link to your website handy in my bookmarks folder :)

You have an exceptional selection of images in your gallery, Alex. The wide variety of subjects and styles, combined with a remarkably consistent quality throughout, are a testament to your extraordinary creativity and skill. I lost interest in taking landscape photographs a number of years ago (although I\'ve never lost the pleasure in viewing the works of others), and your work is almost enough to persuade me to clear the cobwebs off the camera and get back into the field!

Your work is stunning, As a landscape photography I often search out the work of others, sometimes for inspiration and sometimes just out of interest. I found both in your images but particularly inspiration. I will look back regularly. Thanks.

I was born in Newton Abbot and have many happy memories of Dartmoor. I miss it very much and have not been back to the UK since 1989. My husband took 74 of your photos and it is now both my wallpaper and screensaver for my new computer. Thank you for taking such beautiful, amazing pictures.

Your pictures are stunning, amazing...with each new picture I looked at, I kept saying, "Wow"..."Oooohhh!" "Beautiful".
Because these are more than just pretty pictures; more than brilliant composition and luck of the weather conditions---you bring the actual elemental feel of the particular countryside you are shooting. It's like I fell I am there, and can almost smell the smells and hear the sounds. This is a special gift that you have within you. Thank you for sharing!
