Lake District

The Lake District in the summer time is one of the most quintessentially English locations I have ever visited. Its green tranquillity is certainly not lost on the thousands of visitors who visit every year, which puts me off visiting in the summer somewhat. In the winter it is probably at its best, with snow capped peaks, dead bracken on the hillsides and green grass in the fields below it there is a huge amount of variety to be found.
